VetCBD Advanced Formula pairs broad-spectrum CBD with a measured amount of THC. The ratio matters, and ours were chosen by a veterinarian for how pets actually respond. Regular Strength (20:1 CBD:THC) is the everyday formula; Extra Strength (10:1) is for pets that need more support. Both are blended in organic extra virgin olive oil, made from US-grown hemp, third-party tested every batch, and under 0.3% THC in compliance with federal law.

What does the THC do?
In small, veterinarian-chosen ratios, THC works alongside CBD to support comfort and calm. Pet parents usually reach for Advanced when CBD alone is not quite enough. Both strengths stay under 0.3% THC, in compliance with federal law.
Will it make my pet high?
No. At these ratios and suggested servings, the amount of THC per serving is small. Start low and increase gradually. If you ever think you have given too much, our veterinary team is a free call away.
Is this okay for cats?
Yes. Both strengths are formulated for dogs and cats. Cats typically use the 250mg or 500mg sizes, and the serving chart above covers them.
What is the difference between Regular and Extra Strength?
Regular Strength is 20 parts CBD to 1 part THC, the everyday formula most pets start with. Extra Strength is 10:1, for pets that need more support. When in doubt, start with Regular.
How much do I give?

We have been using vet CBD for several years for our dogs to calm them during the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve fireworks explosions. The product works well and is high quality.
The THCAdvanced Formula CBD was delivered very quickly, packaged nicely, and does what it says for two of my four dogs. We had a LOT of construction work done on our home and a crew of painters working and it doesn’t stop their barking, but (I think) stopped their high anxiety. When we 1st received it, we gave it to all four, but now give it twice a day to our biggest anxious pup (2-1/2 yo, 65 lbs) and our oldest (13 yo, 27 lbs) for arthritis as a pain relief. Without it, Quincy seems more anxious and Banjo, the elder, seems to have more pain. It seems not to have any effect on the other two. The best thing about VetCBD is their set up where you can call Dr. Shu, the founder and veterinarian, for advice and he calls you back. VERY helpful! Also, it’s easy to add to their food. We’ll see if it has any long term effect after about a year of them taking it, but so far, so good.

My cat turned 20 this summer. I am grateful to have him, and I love him so much. Showing signs of his age-confusion, less active, etc. But, seems happy and in good health for his age. This CBD sounds like a good additive to help with his aging years. He takes it readily and he seems nice and content. Perhaps, if he has "aches", it is helping him feel more comfortable.

All I know is that my 14 year old lab was having noticeable hip/leg issues, and since we have been using the Advanced Formula Vet CBD, she seems to have more energy and is not favoring her hind area nearly as much. She is happy and does not appear to be in pain from the hips.
