How to give it
- 1Shake well. Draw your horse's amount into the included syringe — the markings make measuring simple.
- 2Top the feed or dose directly. Most horses take it right on grain or a handful of pellets. It can also be given straight into the side of the mouth.
- 3Stay consistent. Start once daily for the first week. For situational support — trailering, the farrier, a vet visit — give a dose about 30–60 minutes beforehand.

How much CBD do I give my horse?
VetCBD Equine delivers 50 mg of CBD per mL. A typical 800–1,100 lb riding horse starts at 1 mL daily. Smaller ponies start around 0.5 mL; drafts may need 1.5–2 mL. See the full dosing chart above, and adjust gradually with your veterinarian's guidance.
How long does one bottle last?
Each 2 fl oz bottle contains 3,000 mg — about 60 days of daily support for an average riding horse. Ponies get roughly four months per bottle; drafts closer to a month.
Will it make my horse dull or sluggish?
No. VetCBD Equine is formulated to support a balanced temperament without sedating your horse. Most owners describe their horse as more settled and workable — not sleepy or "checked out."
Does it contain THC? Will my horse test positive?
VetCBD Equine is broad-spectrum with no detectable THC, and every batch is triple-tested by a third-party lab — you can review the certificate of analysis before you buy. That said, drug-testing rules vary by organization and some tests screen for CBD itself, not just THC. See the next question.
Can I use this on a horse that shows or competes?
Be careful here. Many equestrian organizations — including USEF and FEI — prohibit cannabinoids in competition, regardless of THC content. We do not recommend using VetCBD Equine on horses in active competition without first checking your association's current rules. Our formula is made for companion horses, trail horses, seniors, retirees, and horses on rest or recovery.
How do I give it?

How long before I notice a difference?
Situational support is usually noticeable within an hour. For everyday support of comfort and movement, give it consistently and reassess after two to three weeks — this isn't a quick fix, and the owners who see the most change are the ones who stay consistent.
Is it safe alongside other supplements or medications?

Is it safe for senior or rescue horses?
Yes. Senior horses, retirees, and rescues are among the most common reasons owners reach for VetCBD Equine — typically for support of comfort, movement, and a settled temperament. Start at the low end of the chart and adjust gradually.
